Well, as we sit back watching Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (one of the best films ever written) with Puffin, Meerkat, Sam and Alysha, let's have a look at some progress Before and Afters.
Looking through the front door at the nice new archways, wooden floorboards and new paint job. Yum.
And looking into the kitchen/dining area. This obviously would have looked better if I had cleaned up first. And if the new kitchen had been installed already. And if instead of propping the doors up, we had hung them. But at least the flouros and fan are gone!
Then looking back towards the front door, and loving the archways and paint job. But again I should have moved the ladder etc.
And then look here! A new lounge room! Obviously we need some color injected here, and I did take the 'After' photo at night. But look at our bookshelf! And new entertainment unit that we picked up tonight!!!
Lucky last is the second bedroom - the bedrooms all look pretty much the same.
We got all the doors up today - although this proved to be somewhat more time consuming than we had originally thought. The new handles were also bit of a nightmare - but nothing an angle grinder and the badger can't fix.
Tomorrow there will be, joyously, no work done on the house, and we will enjoy spending the whole day at the beach, having a day off!!! HUZZUH!
